Colorful Kyiv getting painted in Red

During this year’s UEFA EURO CUP 2012, another colorful rivalry and competition is going on among the football lovers.
The supporters of different teams are wearing various colorful costumes, team jersey, painting their body in the color of their team color and flags. This colorful enjoyable ceremony is really very crucial to make us feel the pace of the game.
Where some supporters are just painting themselves in the color of their national theme, many supporters are also extending their imagination and creating dream like environment with their body art.
The streets are filled up with not only madly supporters but also several creative artists with their colors and pallets. Their participation in the game is through their art work and creations. This entire event is one the Khreshchatyk Fan zone in Kyiv where every EURO lovers gathered to celebrate this year’s EURO CUP through this innovative and colorful competition.
“I usually paint in my home just for enjoying my game, but I had never got a chance to share this with the world.” one artist’s fan who is participating in this events said “Here in this competition I have got the chance to show the world my passion about the game and in painting.”
Tetiana is a body artist who has opened a stall in this event. She never imagined that so many supporters would show up to paint their body or face. “I never imagined getting so many customers” she said. “The peoples are gathering very fast. The queues at different stalls are getting large like a snake. I never dreamed that this day could turn out like this. This interests and demands are encouraging me to create more and more beautiful painting and body arts”
When we asked the stall Owners about the customers demand this days they replied, “Normally a fans or supporters are asking for their country flags. Come are requesting to make their Team Logo or team colors. One mad Swedish fan even painted his entire body from this naval to this face. It was real funny and colorful.” one artist said.
The entire city is lie painting in their colors, mainly red. The city streets are the peoples everyone is painted in red. Tetiana is really enjoying her participation in this madly events. She is truly proud that she got a chance to experience something like this. Not only her, but this is the feeling of every participants in this events.
This event proves how sports can erase all the difference between many countries and make us enjoy all together in the spirit of game.
