Portugal reach Semifinal, EURO 2012

Portugal have lost the match with Germany, but their star player Cristiano Ronaldo is in great form before they start their journey in the EURO semi-final after long four failed attempts.
When they started their tournament they were not very favorite team among others champions. The fans were not expecting them to create any miracle. They have lost three consecutive matches in this very tournament series. Their group partners were also very tough, and Portugal had to lose in the match against one match winner Germany. Not only Germany but also Denmark and Netherlands gave them a strong blow. Their chances to win the trophy were getting away from them.
Before their big semifinal let’s take a look at their various winning factors.
Their tactics have been transformed into a new level by their great Bento. They picked exactly same playing eleven in the four consecutive matches as they have picked in the past matches with Herzegovina and Bosnia. But then they face some unfortunate blow in form of injury. They lost another valuable player for thigh injury. Apart from this they do not wanted to make any changes. Bento officially declared that in his press reaction.
Ronaldo is another key player in this series, who’s maintaining the leading players’ profile this year. Moutinho said “He is truly a gifted player in our team. He is our very much valuable and striking team mate.” His team mates are unable to point out any weak point of great Cristiano Ronaldo. He has also played with Fábio Coentrão in Real Madrid, so their partnership is really working-out. According to his coach and team members he is equally good with his head and foot. And his fast movement is a nightmare to his opponents.
Portugal has started this tournament with a very bad starts. But Bento worked hard along with his payers to make them die-heart performers, and his strategies really paid off. From the match with Netherlands, Portugal has started to change the game.
Though they have started their journey in back-foot but, finally they managed to move on in attacking position and started to eliminate their rivals. But still they failed to bag the points against Germany. However, though Bento has successfully turns his team into a roaring lion, but still it is not enough. There is still a very section they need to improve to dazzle the world and impress their fans.
But before the big match they looked relaxed but determinate to give their best in the field. And the world and his countrymen are looking forward to Ronaldo magic in the big semi-final match.
